Weed Maniac

Pegaga in a seed tray, on purpose

Centella asiatica arrives uninvited in half my pots, so this year I stopped pulling it and gave it a shallow tray in the darkest corner of the balcony.

It wants shade, constantly damp soil and nothing else. Cut it back to a few centimetres and it is ready again in about ten days, which is more than I can say for the basil.

Most of it ends up in a salad with shallots and lime. The rest goes back into the tray as runners.
